Come July 5th and 6th, 2025, craft beer geeks from around the world descend on Tokyo to attend what is to be arguably the world’s smallest and most exclusive showcase of American craft beer creativity and ingenuity.

Brujos and Friends is more than just a beer festival—it’s an exclusive gathering of the most sought after breweries from the U.S. coming together in one location.

The festival features headliner Brujos Brewing alongside five partner breweries: Fidens Brewing, North Park Beer Co, Root+Branch Brewing, TEST Brewery, and Troon Brewing. The event takes place at ADRIFT Shimokitazawa in the heart of vibrant Shimokitazawa, Setagaya.

The entire event, lasting over two days, consists of two three-hour sessions per day. A cross section of the attendees shows individuals from various parts of the US, Italy, Finland, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, as well as Japan.

The breweries will be bringing a range of their best craft, including many beers spread across different sessions that are brewed just-for-festival only. The beers range from Barrel-aged stouts and barleywines; IPAs from Quadruples to Singles; as well as collaboration brews.

The highlight will be a 6-way collab brew called “Order of the Six” produced for the festival, with each brewery executing their own take on the 6-way collab recipe.

There will also be a 19-month Barrel-Aged Stout named “Tokyo Under Our Spell” which will be served during the festival. These festival beers will also be available in packaged format for attendees to purchase and take away.
