Did someone say party?!

Kura’s Backyard BBQ is the final installment of a trio of Kuala Lumpur-based events initiated by the American Brewers Association (BA) in September 2025. In addition to a pair of tasting events at House of Hops, a micro-festival organised in tandem with Kura’s Krafts will take place on Saturday, September 20. The festivities will commence at 2 p.m. and carry on till 9 p.m.

The main car park at Plaza Batai has been chosen as the venue for this celebration of American craft beer. An assortment of around 50 different beers concocted by 15 American breweries will leave attendees spoiled for choice. None of these beers are currently available anywhere in Malaysia.

Rest assured, there will be food in abundance as well. Aside from Kura’s extensive selection of hot dogs, a variety of burgers are going to be served straight off the grill.

What’s more, a live band will be cranking out tunes capable of keeping your head bobbing and hips swaying!

Be aware, however, that supplies of the BA’s batch are finite. As this is an open event, you’d do well to show up early in order to get your fill. We look forward to seeing you there!
