With summer heating up Singapore, Brewlander presents the perfect experience to kick back with an array of delicious Craft beers: Brewnanza Fest, the largest celebration of Craft beer in Singapore yet!

Get ready to savour over 100 unique craft beers from more than 20 of the most innovative local and international breweries from America, Asia, Australia, Europe and the United Kingdom.

Happening from 3 to 6 August 2023 at the Bayfront Event Space, festival-goers can satisfy their thirst on a curated selection of unique beers and never-seen-before brews that ranges from crushable pale ales, juicy IPAs, thick and luscious Smoothie Sours, to funky Farmhouse ales, truly a beer lover’s paradise.

The latest to join the illustrious lineup of breweries at the festival are first-timers in Singapore DD4D from Japan, renowned UK craft brewery Cloudwater, and Trillium Brewing!

Alison, I’ll Drink Your Wine by Brewlander

The first of many must-try beers at Brewnanza Fest, a New England-style IPA, heavy-handedly hopped with a new method designed to extract the mesmerising Thiol compounds that unleash a cascade of amazing tropical flavours. This India Pale Ale delivers a luscious mouthfeel, like a pillow of flavour while the soft bitterness perfectly balances the tropical explosion, creating a truly exceptional drinking experience.

Brewander (Singapore)
58 Shades of Red

To commemorate SG’s 58th Celebration, Brewlander has created a red India Pale Ale that boasts of a solid carared, crystal and Munich malt backbone, that gives it the robust, warm, red hue to the pour. Hopped with a series of American hops—Centennial, Ekuanot, Columbus, Mosaic, Simcoe and HBC 586, this beer is intensely tropical, and citrusy with a fresh pine aroma that’s dank yet well-balanced. 58 Shades of Red is more than just a beer—it’s a celebration in every sip that pays homage to this remarkable milestone.

Sourpocalypse

Introducing the first of the festival’s special beers, Brewlander and Vault City Brewing Co. have created a collaboration brew inspired by a well-loved local dessert, Mango Pomelo. This smoothie sour beer is the epitome of indulgence, packed with the delightful combination of ripe mango and tangy grapefruit, backed up by a thick smooth and creamy mouthfeel reminiscent of a fruit smoothie.

Style: Mango and Grapefruit Fruited Sour | ABV: 5.00% Tasting Notes: FRUITY!

Brewlander (Singapore) x Rocky Ridge Brewing Co. (Australia)
Ridgelander IPA

A joint love of Ella and Galaxy hops made the decision of hop combo easy and we have bombed the heck outta this brew with both of em! Crisp body and bitterness as long as the flight from Busso to Singapore, strap in and enjoy a new classic. There can be only one! But we reckon you’ll probably want two.

Style: West Coast IPA | ABV: 7.30%

Tasting Notes: Light Cracker malt, Tropical fruit, Orange and Mango aromas

Heroes (Hong Kong)
Lock Cha Beer

Brewed with Floor Malted Maris Otter, this beer boasts that classic British biscuit malt character, finessed with First Gold hops. Unmistakable English fruit esters and rich malty flavours dance on your palate with each sip, bound to make you keep coming back for more.

Style: Pu’er English Strong Ale | ABV: 6.30%

Tasting Notes: Zheng Shan Pu’er tea, Toasted Bread, Toffee

Lervig (Norway)
Coconuts Imperial Stout

Coconut Imp. Stout, brewed with vanilla, maple and coconut to create a bounty bar explosion in a beer. This is a humongous chocolatey stout with tons of character from massive amounts of chocolate and toasted malts to back up the generous amount of toasted coconut and finished off with a bit of vanilla and maple syrup. Of course it’s more of a dessert than a beer, why not?

Style: Coconut Imperial Stout | ABV: 12.50%

Cheeky Monkey x Abundance (Australia)
Bunshine XPA

Bunshine XPA with Blood Orange pours a hazy golden colour, topped with a lingering white head. The aroma is a burst of tropical and citrus fruits, with pronounced notes of blood orange, grapefruit, and pineapple. The blood orange addition adds a tangy and refreshing twist to this XPA. Juicy grapefruit, zesty orange, and tropical pineapple flavours intertwine, complemented by a moderate hop bitterness. A crisp and refreshing mouthfeel, it finishes clean with a subtle lingering bitterness.

Style: Fruited Pale Ale | ABV: 4.80% Tasting Notes: Crisp, Citrusy, Refreshing

DD4D (Japan)
Don Jalapeño

Classic IPA with additions of local jalapeño in both the kettle and fermenter.It is a challenging task to add a balanced spiciness and a pleasant Jalapeño aroma to the beer, but it is achieved through our craftsmanship.

This Jalapeño IPA combines the fresh flavour of Jalapeño with the bitterness of hops and citrus aromas, creating a mysterious taste experience.

Style: Chili Infused IPA | ABV: 6.00%

Tasting Notes: Citrus, Tropical, Mild Jalapeno

Alive Brewing, Pühaste, Hambaobao (Singapore)

Buah Keluak Imperial Stout

Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Pühaste, Tartu, Estonia and Hambaobao in Singapore. The first of its kind to feature local favourite Peranakan ingredient Buah Keluak in a complex imperial stout. Experience this complex imperial stout at Brewnanza at the Alive Brewing booth before it runs out for good as we only made a super limited amount.

Style: Imperial Porter | ABV: 10.00%

Tasting Notes: Roiling flavours of earthy umami, dark chocolate, roasty coffee with a thick mouthfeel and light carbonation.

Live Entertainment & Music

Prepare for an unforgettable festival experience at Brewnanza Fest, where a captivating lineup of curated performances awaits. Brewlander is committed to championing local artists, providing a unique platform to allow performers to showcase their musical talent.

Helming the festival’s DJ line-up is none other than homegrown music and party collective Ice Cream Sundays, spanning the program schedule for Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. These music maestros have hand picked their favourite local selectors from compending collectives including Darker Than Wax, Revision Music and Mugic.

On Sunday, Sweetness Follows Records brings an afternoon showcase of musical reverie. Featured bands include Bellied Star, Death Valley Community Club, Forest, and Mary Sue featuring fxrxzx. Get ready for myriad genres, covering everything from punk rock, alternative, emo-math pop, indie-folk, to R&B.
