Following a series of promotional activities in Singapore and Thailand, the American Brewers Association (BA) is set to foray into Malaysia. In conjunction with its Export Development Program, a trio of happenings have been initiated in Kuala Lumpur in September 2025.
To start off with, a pair of curated tasting events will be held at House of Hops on Wednesday, September 17, and Thursday, September 18, from 6 p.m. onwards. A different lineup of 9 beers will be made available for sampling on each of these nights. This assortment of all-American offerings covers a range of styles, from hop-forward IPAs to lighter, fruity, and experimental brews.
A diverse crowd of local craft beer afficionados, beer bloggers, gastronomic influencers, and F&B importers have been invited to participate. Due to limited ticket availability, it is recommendable to sign up sooner rather than later.

Pre-sale tickets are available at RM 99 apiece until September 14. Tickets will also be sold at the door for RM 119.
For those unable to attend, do not fret! The BA is also collaborating with Kura’s Krafts to organise a micro-festival at Plaza Batai on Saturday, September 20.
BA Squared
In our capacity as the BA’s partner in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, Beer Asia has helped execute a number of trade and consumer events in 2025. Notable activations include the presence of booths at Pub Bar Asia in Bangkok and Brewnanza in Singapore.
Efforts to educate craft beer communities around the region on what makes U.S. brews so unique will continue in Malaysia. Judging by the engagement and excitement displayed by consumers in neighbouring countries, you won’t want to miss out!
