Thailand Beer Festival (November 2019)
🇹🇭🍻 Hot on the heels of a fantastic SEA Brew conference, Bangkok craft beer lovers are in for another treat: the latest edition of the Thailand Beer Festival.
In defiance of strict brewing regulations and entrenched ‘big beer’ commercial interests, Bangkok is quickly gaining a reputation for having one of the most dynamic and exciting craft beer cultures of any city in Southeast Asia.
The beer festival is taking place at SHOW DC‘s Oasis Outdoor Arena in Rama 9 from 1-3 November. The organisers are claiming is the largest craft beer festival in the country – and with 300 different craft brands involved, it sounds believable!
Interestingly, the Thailand Beer Festival even features famous Thai musicians Joey Boy (โจอี้ บอย), Earth Patravee (เอิ๊ต ภัทรวี) and Krissada Sukosol Clapp (กฤษดา สุโกศล แคลปป์). It is exciting to see mainstream entertainment and popular artists gradually becoming a fixture at craft beer events in Asia.
